FIRST LOVE 

First Love is an ongoing collection of portraits of people who are directly or indirectly connected to my skate practice – friends, skaters, hobos, partners, kids and people passing through the scene.

The series looks at skateboarding as a social ecosystem. Through clothes, posture and haircuts, the portraits trace different ways of belonging to the group: early crushes, crew dynamics, coming-of-age moments and quiet acts of self-definition. 

Rather than focusing on tricks, the work treats each face as almost an identity photograph, showing how a subculture shapes the way people present themselves to the world.
